We alre celebrating 250 years since the world’s first Press Freedom Act. Media freedom was guaranteed in Sweden and Finland 250 years ago when the Swedish parliament passed the world’s first freedom of the press act in 1766. As we celebrate this anniversary, freedom of expression is under pressure – challenged by state-fuelled propaganda, alleged national security concerns, and attacks against journalists online and offline. Join us in a discussion on how to uphold free speech and press in a changing political and technological environment!
